MEET THE FOUNDER
Radio Active was born from a lifetime spent at the intersection of fashion and movement.
Created by Christian Cox, founder of the internationally recognized lifestyle brand Pacific & Driftwood and founder of AM RADIO PILATES, Austin's premier Authentic Classical Pilates studio, Radio Active represents the culmination of more than three decades immersed in both industries.
Christian's career began in fashion as a model signed with Ford Models before evolving into the founder and creative force behind Pacific & Driftwood, a lifestyle brand carried by retailers including Anthropologie, Revolve, Nasty Gal, Dolls Kill and more than 100 specialty stores worldwide. The brand garnered national recognition and appeared in publications including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, US Weekly, Sport Illustrated SI Issue, Surfer Magazine, and numerous other fashion and lifestyle outlets.
At the same time, Christian was pursuing a lifelong study of movement, beginning her Pilates education under Romana Kryzanowska, the protégé personally entrusted by Joseph Pilates to carry on his legacy. For more than thirty years, fashion and Pilates evolved side by side, shaping a unique perspective rooted in design, craftsmanship, discipline, and self-expression.
That journey ultimately led to the creation of AM RADIO PILATES and later RADIO ACTIVE.
